The Location
The villa is located on a quiet tarmacked road with access via an electrically operated gate, with a side pedestrian gate. The villa is not isolated as there are several other villas nearby.
The towns of Pinoso and Abanilla are situated within a fifteen-minute drive where are daily amenities are available, including supermarkets, schools, medical center, sports facilities as well as a wide range of bars and restaurants. Both Alicante and Murcia airports are an hour’s drive away.
The Villa
All rooms in the villa are very spacious. On the ground floor, there is a cozy living room with wood burning stove and two large bedrooms and a bathroom.
The large and attractive kitchen/diner is a real feature of the villa with access to a utility room and two storage rooms. The upper floor has three further bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has access to an enormous roof terrace which has breath-taking, panoramic views. The roof terrace can also be reached from outside via a spiral staircase.
Around the Villa
Before entering the living room, there is a large covered outdoor terrace which offers a view of the swimming pool and the beautiful mountains behind. The terrace is a perfect space for outdoor dining and entertaining.
Adjacent to the terrace, there is a kitchenette and separate toilet/shower room. There is a large, outdoor storage room where the pellet burner is housed.
The swimming pool is surrounded by a decorative wall which provides complete privacy and offers a wonderful place for long Summer evenings with a barbeque or delicious paella.
The garden at the front of the property is neatly laid out and well maintained with two mature fig trees and integrated watering system. The current owners planted 150 olive trees which have been well nurtured over the years and they now produce a substantial crop used in the production of olive oil.
Comfort and Facilities
The villa has been maintained to an excellent standard by the current owners whilst retaining the character of the property and as such is ready to move into. Two years ago, an overhaul of the electric supply and internal electrical wiring systems was completed. In 2023 the downstairs bathroom was modernised and in 2024 the swimming pool pump was replaced.
The villa is connected to mains electric and mains water, there is also a well/deposit with pump for water within the grounds.
There is a septic tank.
Internet is available at a reduced rate, the receiver for part of the valley is located on the roof.
There are air conditioning units in the upstairs bedrooms, living room and kitchen.
The villa has central heating throughout provided by a pellet burner located in the outside storage room.
There is extra insulation under the roof tiles which helps to keep the house cooler in the Summer and warmer during the Winter.
All windows have attractive shutters as well as being fitted with mosquito nets.
The white goods are included in the sale price of the villa.
The furniture, which fits well with the property, is negotiable with the current owners.
